Unit validation

Practical value

Support for authorized teams

Catch date mismatches

Stop services that fall outside an active authorization from passing validation.

Monitor utilization

See remaining units before approving billable records.

Document changes

Preserve controlled lifecycle actions and audit events.

Access follows responsibility

The workspace changes according to verified role, permissions and scope.

Security and permissions

A page never grants authority

Selecting a product page, portal or login card never grants access. Protected NVASIKI requests verify the authenticated user’s current UserAccess record, agency, role and scope. Sensitive modules require their own access grants.

Agency separation
Home and member scope
Separate functional permissions
Audit and lifecycle records

Frequently asked questions

Clear answers before implementation

Can overlapping authorizations be entered?

The controlled function blocks overlapping date ranges for the same member and service code.

How are authorization units reviewed?

Authorized users can review approved, used and remaining units during the billing-validation workflow.

Can billing staff see the full clinical chart?

No. Billing authorization access does not automatically grant clinical access.
